STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS IN PRINTING 2018 JAMB RESULT SLIP

1. You shall be required to create a profile via the Sign Up (New User) Page if you are a new user. For existing users, simply type in your login details. To create your profile, you will provide your valid email address, surname, first name, Mobile No, State and LGA of Origin and password, then click on the Sign Up button. Each candidate is entitled to only one profile.
2. Subsequently, you shall use your email address and password to sign in.
3. Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page where you will see all available services.
4. Select “Print Result Slip”. This is available on the side bar or on the Home page.
5. Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.
6. Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note the Transaction ID displayed in a bold red font. The Transaction ID is useful for all future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.
7. Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.
8. On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.
9. The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section”. An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Click on the Continue button.
10. Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:
a. Year of Exam and
b. JAMB Registration Number.
After entering the information correctly, you can now print the Result Slip as shown on your screen

JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin made this known on Monday, March 12, 2018, while featuring on Rock City FM Day Break Show, in Abeokuta.

According to Benjamin, JAMB is thinking of open book examinations that will allow candidates to write the examination from their houses, adding that JAMB is looking forward to getting the technology to facilitate it.

Speaking about the challenges facing candidates in the ongoing UTME, Benjamin said: “At any point, if there is an issue, we find a way to solve it to ensure all candidates write the UTME with convenience.”

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Sunday announced that biometrics is compulsory for all candidates writing the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The board’s Head, Media and Information Department, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday, said any candidate that cannot be identified through biometrics will be barred from writing.

 

“We want to clearly state here that any candidate who cannot be identified using biometrics will not be allowed to sit for this examination.
“So far, over 450,000 candidates have sat for the examination and we have had reported cases where some of the candidates could not be identified as they placed their fingers on the machines for identification.
“Candidates sitting for this examination are not to be identified by mere registration numbers or names, but through the machines.
“We know that at the point of registration for this examination, candidates’ details were captured with live photographs as well as their fingerprints.

 

“So, while going for the examination, it is only expected that candidates should be screened and identified using biometrics.
“This method should be able to call up candidates’ identity and so, there is no way a candidate will just come and mention his name and registration number and be allowed in without going through the right process,” he said.
Benjamin said the measure was to ensure the eligibility of candidates and reduce cases of impersonation.

The West African Examinations Council WAEC has released results of  the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates 2018-First Series yesterday in Lagos with 17.13% pass in English Language  and Mathematics.
This was just as the results of 1,021 candidates, representing 9.03% of the total candidature for the examination are being withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.

A. Distance Learning Programme

i. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN LEGISLATIVE DRAFTING (PGDLD): Seeks to introduce participants to the techniques in legislative drafting for good governance.

B. Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into Distance Learning Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting (PGDLD), a prospective candidate should possess:

i. At least 5 credit passes at the Ordinary Level WASSC, including English
Language in not more than two sittings, or at least 5 merit passes in the

12 months or a minimum of 2 Semesters.

Candidates are to purchase application forms online with any valid VERVE OR MASTER ATM for the sum of N20,000.00.

The form must be correctly filled with all information required as indicated in the instruction before submitting online and thereafter printed out from the Uniben Website, www.uniben.edu. The following documents will be printed out from the Website:- application and referee forms. Any form not properly filled will not be treated. All application processes must be completed latest Wednesday 30th April, 2018.
